Hi, I’m Missy (Berggren) Voronyak and I work with WCG, a full service digital marketing agency in Minneapolis (with more offices around the world). We work with global brands on evolving media, public relations, marketing, digital, social with a heavy dose of analytics. My focus is on social media and influencer engagement across our practices in healthcare, tech and consumer brands.
My previous gig was rebranding Allina Health, a large healthcare organization with 11 hospitals and 60+ clinics. My experience also includes 10 years with the renowned Hazelden Foundation. (My opinions are my own, of course.)
In 2010 I founded the Minnesota Blogger Conference with colleague and friend Arik Hanson. We hosted four conferences, all sold-out events and were recognized for our work developing the conference in the 2010 Twin Cities Top Ten Titans in Social Media . A couple of years ago we handed over the reigns to new leaders to carry the conference forward.
In 2012 I joined the Board of Directors for the Food Allergy Support Group of Minnesota, a small not-for-profit that helps children and families affected by food allergies. This is an issue very dear to my heart and on my mind each day, as my youngest child has severe, life-threatening food allergies. I’m grateful for the opportunity to help shape the supportive programming and communications the group offers to the community.
You can also find me at Marketing Mama, a blog I began in 2007 dedicated to parenting reflections, family activities, Twin Cities resources and health topics.
