On health care and branding – Interval Marketing Podcast

I love meeting up with other health care marketing folks to talk business. It’s a pretty tight niche and we seem to have a language all our own. Even more exciting is when those people are also brand hacks like myself. Enter Chris Bevolo. I had heard good things about Chris and his Interval Marketing team, so I reached out to make a connection. The next thing I know, I was in their office in Minneapolis as a guest on their weekly podcast, the Arrogant Healthcare Marketing Bastards.

Book review: Interactive Project Management

As a part of my work on the team at Social Media Breakfast Minneapolis/St. Paul, I had the opportunity to read a preview copy of Interactive Project Management: Pixels, People, and Process, the new book by the Geek Girls Nancy Lyons and Meghan Wilker.

I read the book in preparation for Nancy and Meghan’s appearance at a Social Media Breakfast focused on interactive project management. Although the presentation was held before the new book was available, they were able to give attendees a taste of their style and topics they are passionate about in the field of interactive (I don’t think there was anything they weren’t passionate about, actually, it’s fun to watch these two on stage).
